AI Customization#
Pro AI subscribers can generate a unique version of each post for every group in a campaign. Instead of posting identical text everywhere, PilotPoster rewrites your content using OpenAI.
Requirements#
- Pro AI subscription
- AI customization enabled on the campaign
Enable AI customization#
In the campaign wizard Content step:
- Toggle AI Customization on
- Select an AI mode
- Add custom instructions (optional)
AI runs at execution time, once per group, after spintax is applied.
AI modes#
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Normal | Light rewrite, keeps your core message |
| Creative | More variation in wording and structure |
Start with Normal for promotional posts. Use Creative when you want more distinct versions across groups.
Custom instructions#
Add instructions to guide the rewrite. Examples:
- "Keep it under 200 characters"
- "Use a casual, friendly tone"
- "Mention the city name if possible"
- "Do not use exclamation marks"
Instructions apply to every group in that campaign. Combine with spintax for even more variation.
Text format presets#
Some format presets enforce character limits. If your original text exceeds the limit, AI rewrites to fit.
Check the preset description in the Content step before writing long copy.
How it works at execution time#
- Campaign reaches scheduled time
- For each group:
- Spintax is applied first (if used)
- AI rewrites the text based on mode and instructions
- Extension posts the final version
- Sleep interval before next group
Each group gets its own AI-generated text. Two groups in the same campaign will not get identical posts.
Tips#
- Write a clear base post. AI works best when the original has a solid message to adapt.
- Test with 2 groups before running a 20-group campaign
- Review logs to spot any groups where AI output looks off
- Keep custom instructions specific and short
Limitations#
- AI customization requires the extension to be online (same as all campaigns)
- API costs are covered by your Pro AI subscription
- Very short base text (under 20 characters) may produce inconsistent results
- AI does not generate images or change media attachments
