Create Campaign#
Every scheduled post goes through a 4-step wizard: Content, Groups, Schedule, and Review.
Step 1: Content#
Add what you want to post.
Post description#
Write your main post text. You can use plain text, links, and spintax syntax like {option A|option B} to vary wording across groups.
Media#
Attach up to 7 images or videos from your Media Library. PilotPoster supports JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV, and AVI.
Text format preset#
Pick a formatting style for your post. Some presets enforce character limits. Check the preset description before writing long copy.
AI customization (Pro AI)#
If you are on Pro AI, enable AI customization to generate a unique version of your post for each group. Set the AI mode and add custom instructions.
See AI Customization.
Auto first comment#
Enable Auto First Comment to post a follow-up comment on your own post after a delay. Useful for adding links or extra context without cluttering the main post.
See Auto First Comment.
Step 2: Groups#
Choose where to post.
Manual selection#
Pick individual groups from your synced list. Good for one-off campaigns or testing a new group.
Saved group list#
Select a pre-saved list if you post to the same set of groups regularly. Create and manage lists under Groups.
See Groups and Lists.
Profile posting#
Some campaigns can target your Facebook profile instead of groups. Use this when you want a personal timeline post rather than a group post.
Step 3: Schedule#
Set when and how often to post.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Date and time | When the campaign starts (stored in UTC) |
| Sleep between posts | Minutes to wait between each group |
| Repeat | Re-run the campaign on an interval |
| Repeat interval | How often to repeat (hours or days) |
| End date | When repeating stops |
See Scheduling and Repeats for details on repeats and sleep intervals.
Step 4: Review#
Review all settings before saving. Confirm:
- Post text and media look correct
- Group count matches your intent
- Schedule time is correct for your timezone
- Sleep interval is set for multi-group campaigns
Click Save to create the campaign. It appears on the Schedule page with status pending until execution time.
Campaign states#
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| pending | Waiting for scheduled time |
| processing | Currently posting to groups |
| completed | All posts finished |
| failed | An error stopped the campaign |
Check Logs after each run to confirm results.
